The World Speaks Out – Solidarity with Hong Kong on Radio Free Asia

BBG Watch Commentary

THE WORLD SPEAKS OUT is a new page on Radio Free Asia (RFA) website showing the world’s solidarity with the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong. Thanks to RFA, Voice of America, BBC and other Western media using multiple news delivery channels, China’s “Great Firewall” of censorship and jamming of broadcasts is no longer effective. Messages received by RFA through calls, e-mail and social media show that the Chinese government’s censorship and spin machine failed inside and outside China.

“Recently, RFA Mandarin reported the Occupy Central protests in Hong Kong with well written scripts, audio, pictures and videos in a timely and detailed way. Rather, they are trying to conceal the truth and slander the protesters.”
