Today’s “BBG Media Highlights – January 16, 2014,” do not mention a hearing Wednesday by the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations to consider the implications of the crisis in Ukraine for U.S. foreign policy in the region. Attacks on Ukrainian journalists emerged as one of the key topics during the hearing. During the hearing, BBG programs to Ukraine were discussed briefly. Video from the hearing can be seen in this BBG Watch report: “Voice of America’s main news website ignores strong U.S. condemnation of attacks on Ukrainian journalists,” BBG Watch, Jan. 16, 2014.
