“After just 40 days as the first-ever CEO of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, Andrew Lack — a broadcasting veteran who was sworn in at BBG on Jan. 20 — has accepted a job at NBC, according to the anonymous blog BBG Watch,” Government Executive website reported.

BBG Watch reported that Andy Lack will be leaving the BBG for a possible job at NBC. According to numerous reports, negotiations about any new job for Andy Lack at NBC are continuing.

BBG Chair Jeff Shell is to address BBG employees later this morning. He is expected to announce who will be the interim manager at the federal agency in charge of U.S. international media outreach. It is expected that one of the current managers will be moved up to this position.
