Kim Andrew Ellliott

Kim Andrew Elliott is a retired audience research analyst, working for the Voice of America and Broadcasting Board of Governors from 1985 to 2017. From 1995 to 2002, he was producer and host of Communications World, a popular weekly Voice of America program about electronic media and international broadcasting. 

Kim was also the producer of VOA Radiogram, from 2013 to 2017. That experiment in broadcasting text and images on analog shortwave transmitters continues as Shortwave Radiogram.

Before he came to the Voice of America in 1985, Kim was on the faculties of communication at the University of Massachusetts and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. 

He has a B.A. (1974) in international affairs from the George Washington University and an M.A. (1977) and Ph.D. (1979) in communication from the University of Minnesota.
