U.S. taxpayer-funded Voice of America (VOA) has failed to report on President Trump’s Monday statement on Charlottesville for more than an hour after he finished his remarks.

Russia’s RT and BBC carried President Trump’s Charlottesville violence statement live on Facebook; the Voice of America did not.

VOA’s Facebook page has not been updated for at least an hour. President Trump said in his statement “Racism is evil – and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including KKK, Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

President Trump finished his statement at 12:43 PM ET.

The VOA News Facebook page had its first post on President Trump’s statement at about 2:00 PM ET.

  1. Let’s see — this VOA director, and the CEO have been around for how long, yet
VOA still has these problems? To suggest an animal analogy, BBC is like a
cheetah in the way it handles breaking news, VOA is the tortoise.
